2025 Senior High Service Trip
All 8th-12th graders are invited to serve in Alaska from Friday, May 30-Friday, June 6th, 2025
Application Forms are now available and will be open until Wednesday, December 4th
Because we are booking flights to travel across the country - our application process will happen for a limited time this next month. There will be unique requirements to help us prepare for this experience and book flights.
Below are a few important things to know:
-
There are two informational meetings for youth AND parents (try to have one family member attend) to join on EITHER Wednesday, October 16th at 7:00 pm over ZOOM or Sunday, October 20th at noon in the youth area - plan to be at one of the meetings to learn more about our service and ask questions.
-
We have a limited number of spots on this mission trip, so we strongly encourage you to fill out your registraion form with your $250 non-refundable deposit as soon as possible. The service trip will fill on a "first come, first serve" basis!
-
Current 8th grade youth are absolutely welcome to join us, and we will have another opportunity to be part of an international mission trip in the future so you may instead choose to participate in our Middle School Service Trip that will be in July 2025 with registration forms available in the spring.
- We will have 4-6 team meetings for our team starting in January. Dates will be decided after all applications are turned in. I will work with you on the best times for most of us. These meetings will include a meal out to an ethnic restaurant, building something together, learning about Alaska plus the people who live there and many logistics.
WHAT’S NEXT?
-
Pray. Talk to your parents and family. Ask for God’s guidance about serving on this team.
-
Answer the questions for the application online and submit in with a $250 deposit. Make sure you have your parents sign the bottom of the application where there is info for your parents.
-
Commit to attend all team training meetings.
- Join our small groups on Sunday Nights as often as you can. My goal is that our team knows each other really well before we get on the first flight to Alaska.
