Choral Evensong
The Sanctuary Choir will sing a service of choral evensong here in the sanctuary on Sunday, May 7 at 4 p.m. The service, mostly sung by the choir, draws upon a rich inheritance of music composed for the express purpose of evensong. The language and music can speak to us of God in a rich and diverse way and allow us to forget the ceaseless activity of daily life and be still. Led by conductor, Andrew Risinger and organist, Malcolm Matthews, the service will include music of Joseph Barnby, Herbert Howells, Paul Spicer, and Charles Wood. We invite everyone to join us for this service of prayers both sung and spoken.
