Be A Mentor This Summer
Mentors Needed For WEUMC-Bethlehem Centers Summer Junior Internship Program
Would you like to help a high school student build confidence and gain strengths in a first job experience? West End provides mentors for Pearl-Cohn students working in Bethlehem Centers’ summer day care, gardening, and meals programs. West End  mentors meet in pairs with interns on Thursdays from 1-2 p.m. from June 8-July 14 at Bethlehem Center on Charlotte Avenue.  Prior to the program, West End mentors receive training for mentoring high school students and a full set of topics and guidelines for the mentoring sessions.  We need 12-15 mentors (a few to serve as back-up mentors in case of absence or travel).  If you are interested or want more information, please contact Marcia McDonald at mamcd915@gmail.com or Pastor Stacey Harwell-Dye at sharwelldye@westendumc.org.
