On this, the most celebratory day of the Christian year, Luke’s account of Easter morning seems a bit lacking.  The two men (in dazzling clothes) at the tomb are somewhat abrupt and almost scold the women who arrive at the tomb as they tell the women to remember the words of Jesus – to this point in Luke's gospel Jesus had told his disciples three times what was to happen.  So today, we who have our own doubts are in good company, and we, too, are called to remember, and remembering is what this day is all about.   (NOTE:  Although the video begins with the sermon, once it starts you can scroll back to the beginning of the service if you want.  The video of the entire service is available to watch.)
