At one point in this familiar burning bush account of his call, Moses asks God for more information, specifically for God’s name. God’s response is something rabbis and scholars have struggled with through the centuries. Truly, the “name” God gives is beyond human comprehension. It indicates that Moses doesn’t need to know the details, but simply to follow God’s call.
