Speakers:Rev. Dr. Carol Cavin-DillonTopics:Holy communion, Sermon, Sunday service
As we continue with readings from Acts, we see the Holy Spirit in action again. This time it is Peter, the close disciple of Jesus, who is speaking in Caesarea and encounters Cornelius and other Gentiles, with whom he is not supposed to associate. But as Peter speaks, those gathered, including the Gentiles, are filled with the Holy Spirit, and Peter realizes that God has opened his eyes to the inclusion of all humanity in the good news of the gospel, and Peter orders them to be baptized.
