This is a Wednesday evening series that rotates each month through WORD (scriptures for the month), WISDOM (Rev. Baxter interviews a guest), WONDER (exploring spiritual practices), and WAY (the way we live out our faith, ministries of compassion and care).  Tonight’s session is WONDER, and Sally Ahner, a teacher, spiritual guide, and West End member, leads us through “May the Holy Spirit work within you.”  For  years Sally has planned and led regular Taizé services of Prayer and Healing at West End, and she has led a Sunday school group focused on spirituality.  In this session, she explores the nature of the Holy Spirit and how we might be open to the Spirit.  To do this, she uses Biblical references, quotations from scholars, and music.
