Each year West End UMC hosts a series of concerts on Thursdays at noon during Lent, and this the second one of Lent, 2024, features Abraham Wallace on the Moller Organ.  Wallace is currently serving as the Organ Scholar at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Nashville while he continues as a doctoral student at the University of Michigan studying Pipe Organ Performance and Sacred Music.  His concert today includes classical pieces for organ composed by J. S. Bach and Felix Mendelssohn, as well as a movement from Gustav Holst’s The Planets.  More about Mr. Wallace and details of the concert today are contained in the program, a pdf of which is available for viewing and/or downloading below.
