This is the service, especially designed for families, wherein we remember the birth of Jesus as told in Luke’s Gospel, sing carols, and have the children who want to do so dressed as shepherds, angels, and animals, as part of the scene.  Those children and everyone else watch with anticipation as a couple, church members, dressed as Mary and Joseph, come forward down the aisle with their baby.  The service also involves Holy Communion.
