West End United Methodist Church seeks a full-time building superintendent to manage and maintain the building and grounds by assessing systems including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HV/AC, irrigation, elevator maintenance, landscaping, kitchen maintenance, etc. This is a hands-on position and requires performing a wide variety of day to day maintenance repairs of the facility. Non-Exempt; Monday-Friday; 40 hrs week; 9:30am-6pm. Available for building emergencies at special pay rate.

This position will report directly to the Property Operations Manager.

West End UMC is a diverse, highly educated, and well-established congregation. Our beautiful church is located in an urban setting across the street from Vanderbilt University. The 123,000 sq.ft. church building consists of five floors including a gymnasium, music suite and the 4^th floor theater.  The Education Building was built and first occupied in 1929; and the Sanctuary was completed in 1940.
