West End United Methodist Church

The Nashville Pride Festival is a welcoming place to come together with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the progress of the LGBTQ+ community, and West End UMC has a presence there each year! We are delighted to join with other UMCs in the area to present one booth with individual church tables. PRIDE will take place this summer at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park on June 22 and 23. Here are three ways you can be involved:

  • Community Worship Service - Join other Nashville communities of faith for the PRIDE worship service, at 7 p.m. on June 20 at Christ Church Cathedral (900 Broadway). We are providing refreshments after worship. If you would like to help with this, please email Molly Borneman at mborneman@westendumc.org.

  • Be a Part of the Parade - Join us Saturday morning, June 22, for this fun and exciting parade through Nashville to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride! West End has 30 spots to fill in the parade, so sign up!

  • Host Our West End Booth - Help us share the light of Christ at our West End Booth! We need people to help with set up, sell shirts, and clean up at the end of the festival. Individuals or families can sign up to do this.
